POSITION OVERVIEW: The Director of Psychological and Behavioral Services serves three important functions: 1) provides consultation and oversight to BCBAs providing service to families affected by ASD, 2) Completes initial and concurrent formal behavioral assessment with BCBAs,  and 3) completes diagnostic evaluations for young children displaying deficits in areas related to communication and socialization. existing ABA-based programs. The Director of Psychological and Behavioral Services works with families to facilitate their participation in ABA-based home-based treatment sessions and provides parent training. The Director will also conduct trainings on how provide ABA-based services though a family centered treatment model and incorporation of behavioral strategies into the child's naturally occurring routines.  


This position requires both a certification as a Behavior Analyst (BCBA or BCBA-D) as well as an active LPA or LP licensure in North Carolina.  As a Licensed professional, in addition to the BCBA roles above, you will participate in the supervision of BCBAs to meet the regulatory requirements of the State of North Carolina. 



  • Ensure compliance with the Psychology Practice Act
  • Provide Clinical Supervision over BCBAs/BCaBAs in North Carolina
  • Monitor client progress through regular meetings or sessions
  • Appropriate submission of billing time sheets and service notes

  • PhD or Master's degree in Clinical or Counseling Psychology  
  • Active NC Licensure as either an LPA or LP
  • Current Certification by the BACB or eligibility to sit for the exam near term.
