BCBA / ABA Center Manager

located in Metairie, LA

 

Butterfly Effects is actively seeking experienced Board Certified Behavior Analysts that have the following skills & virtues:

  • Current BCBA certification with requisite Master's degree or higher.
  • 4-5 years of center based BCBA experience with 2 - 3 years of management / supervisory / leadership required.
  • Documented experience with Clinical Records Management, Microsoft Office Outlook Email, Excel, PowerPoint, Word, and other systems required.  Technology skills are critical.
  • Leadership skills and the ability to effectively communicate with clients, families, and team members.
  • Patience and the ability to provide consistent advice and counsel regarding clinical ABA policies and procedures in a dynamic and active work environment.
  • Commitment to self-accountability, collaboration, and teamwork.
  • Passion and energy to work with children and their families.

 

As a leader of the Butterfly Effects' NOLA Center Team, the ABA Therapy Center Manager / BCBA applies his or her education, skills, experience, passion, and compassion to support and guide the New Orleans ABA Therapy Center as the model for Butterfly Effects as a delivery system for out-patient services. In addition, the ideal candidate will:

  • Plan and direct clinical operations and therapy team to ensure the provision of adequate and appropriate care and service.
  • Participate in the overall preparation and ongoing licensure related to applicable regulatory and compliance requirements, audits, and surveys as they pertain to clinical functions.
  • Ensure the delivery of quality and safe ABA services in the NOLA Center for ABA Therapy.
  • Ensure that consultants direct therapists in the performance of their duties and provides for appropriate supervision.
  • Follow all confidentiality and privacy policies of Butterfly Effects and maintains the confidentiality of protected healthcare information (PHI).
  • Produce and monitor clinical reports and indicators to identify changes that may impact staffing levels and quality of care.
  • Promote and exhibit a culture of service excellence to all organization team members.
  • Contribute to the creation and implementation of goals for the organization.
  • Ensure that all team member and customer complaints / concerns are investigated fully and addressed per defined process. Provides appropriate feedback to Director of Clinical Operations and / or President with corrective action plan(s) as needed.
  • Provide local Clinical & Operations leadership for Butterfly Effects' NOLA based team.
