Center for ABA Therapy Operations Manager

 

Butterfly Effects, a leading provider of in-home, center based, and in-school ABA therapy for clients on the Autism Spectrum is seeking a passionate and smart candidate to join the team as the on-site Center Operations Manager of our ABA Therapy Center in New Orleans.

Duties and Abilities

To be successful in this role, an individual must align with our purpose and values, and have the following capabilities listed below.

  • Direct daily operation of the Center by supervising administrative and support team members and contractors
  • Partner with the Regional Director to supervise Behavior Technicians and BCBAs
  • Be the Center HR liaison providing oversight of HR policies and employee relations issues
  • Use various systems to generate the reports needed to lead our people and manage our business.
  • Budget for and provide employee incentives in partnership with HR and company leaders
  • Maintain consistent inventory and ordering of materials
  • Help manage client behavior in a positive manner ensuring families follow up on commitments, engage in the therapy process, and communicate with team members helping their child
  • Oversee and manage scheduling of team members and families
  • Develop an understanding of the current pay and bonus structure at the Center and with our competitors, and communicate this to company leaders
  • Manage team member performance to achieve greater engagement and increase billable hours
  • Follow through on non-clinical responsibilities and policies (making sure team members are doing meaningful tasks on admin)
  • Contribute to recruiting and retaining BCBAs by ensuring issues are heard and, when possible, the business case for change is rigorously explored
  • Manage center operations including supplies, cleaning of the Center, scheduling of facilities, safety of the environment, appearance of the Center, and any other operational issues that arise.
  • Partner with the Regional Director for any successes, issues, or needs that arise with clinical team members

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree in business management or healthcare administration, masters is preferred
  • Five years progressive leadership experience culminating in reporting to the director of operations or above
  • Two or more years of work experience in health care
  • Demonstrated success in leading operations processes, building and expanding team operations, facilities management, and management of vendors
  • Ability to work well under pressure and achieve results in a fast-paced environment
  • Willingness to roll-up sleeves and get the work -- big and small done
  • Ability and willingness to work with a diverse workforce balancing individual and business needs
  • Fluency in English (written, spoken, and verbal)
  • ABA Therapy knowledge a plus
