POSITION SUMMARY:


Butterfly Effects is currently seeking a Regional Director/BCBA for our Atlanta, GA region. The Regional Director is responsible for the oversight of the day-to-day operations and planning of the overall fiscal and operational performance of the region. Ensures quality care and organizational performance, client relationship management, marketing, appropriate and adequate staffing. Provides guidance and counseling to assigned field team members including, but not limited to, consultants and therapists to assist them in continually improving all aspects of care and services. Coaches and evaluates performance of assigned team members and ensures they are provided with the resources and mentoring to develop skills and techniques to meet the needs of the client and family unit. Partners with other organization team members to provide for adequate resourcing and staffing to meet the needs of the client, as defined and agreed upon by the family and care team. Collaborates with internal and external resources to build a sustainable model of referrals to strategically grow the region and provide increasing access to ABA services.


QUALIFICATIONS:


Education / Experience:

  • Credentialed BCBA with at least three to five years of clinical experience, preferably with two years of management experience.
  • Evidence of education and / or licensure required to practice in all states within the assigned region.
  • Experience providing ABA services in the home, preferred.


Essential Responsibilities / Duties:

  • Plans and directs operations and personnel resources to ensure the provision of adequate and appropriate care and service.
  • Provides oversight of territory fiscal management, including ownership of key metrics, to ensure sustained viability of regional operations.
  • Ensures overall preparation and ongoing licensure related to applicable regulatory and compliance requirements, audits, and surveys as they pertain to administrative functions.
  • Ensures the delivery of quality and safe ABA services in the associated environment: home, school, center, community, or other.
  • Ensures the continuous evaluation of organization performance via the engagement of regional performance improvement teams, productivity standards, grievance management, and caregiver and referral source satisfaction data analysis.
  • Establishes, maintains, and mentors the use of effective channels of communication including, but not limited to, fulfilling weekly communication with field team members, parents / caregivers, supervisor, and all other team members / resources to ensure a seamless provision of care and service.
  • Evaluates services and programs; recommends modifications as indicated. Provides feedback related to the management of cases. Ensures team member development including role specific orientation, engagement in continuing education, and modeling of behavior.
  • Ensures that consultants direct therapists in the performance of their duties and provides for appropriate supervision.
  • Follows all confidentiality and privacy policies of Butterfly Effects and maintains the confidentiality of protected healthcare information (PHI).
  • Produces and monitors operational reports and indicators to identify changes that may impact staffing levels, quality of care, revenues or expenses. Collaborates with others to resolve and reverse negative trends.
  • Works with internal team to resolve authorization or payer issues.
  • Promotes and exhibits a culture of service excellence to all organization team members.
  • Assures proper maintenance of client records in compliance with local, state and federal laws.
  • Contributes to the creation and implementation of goals for the organization.
  • Promotes referrals in the community through the implementation of a strategic business development plan to ensure adequate marketing and new client acquisition to promote territory and organization viability and growth.
  • Ensures all business development activities are clinically accurate (when applicable) and occur in sufficient number, quality and target audience to advance the knowledge of the referring community and promote the organization's services. Participates in a minimal number of such activities, as agreed upon.
  • Ensures that all team member and customer complaints / concerns are investigated fully and addressed per defined process. Provides appropriate feedback to Director of Operations and / or President with corrective action plan(s) as needed.
  • Provides a platform for regular communication with all territory team members, including in-person communication.


Knowledge / Skills / Abilities:

  • Demonstrates ability to work autonomously with minimal supervision and within a corporate team structure, required.
  • Proven excellent verbal and written communication skills and demonstrated ability to actively listen.
  • Demonstrates understanding of the client / family unit's changing and evolving needs, including an ability to be compassionate while maintaining professional boundaries.
  • Exhibits critical thinking skills, demonstrates appreciation and respect of the Company's mission, purpose and values.
  • Ability to read and interpret territory key metrics and reports.
  • Strong Knowledge of HIPAA privacy and security standards.
  • Excellent follow-through skills, self-motivated, and detail-oriented.
  • Strong organizational skills to manage multiple projects, issues, and priorities effectively and simultaneously with attention to detail.
  • Ability to independently travel. Must have reliable transportation, valid driver's license, and the minimum state required liability automobile insurance or access to reliable transportation. Ability and willingness to travel extensively.
